Sanctuary comes from the Latin sanctus meaning sacred. A sanctuary is the consecrated area of a church or temple around its tabernacle or altar. In modern parlance, the term is used to mean any place of safety. It can be a cell or a chamber in which one enters into a relationship with ones truth self.

The world is a hectic and demanding place. We all need to be able to take a break from it now and then, but there can be a long time between holidays and sometimes they themselves can be stressful. So imagine having your own garden sanctuary, a personal space, for you to escape to for moments of quiet contemplation and reflection.

We offer a range of sanctuaries designed to provide solace and tranquillity. These range from our pre-created designs to unique custom-made ones designed specifically for your needs.

Somewhere where your rules apply. Sit and connect with the divine, absorb the landscape around you or reconnect with yourself. Reflect upon your place for a moment or two.

The use of heavy timber walls and earth mounding can help reduce ambient noise levels.

We will collaborate with you to create a sublime and personal space. This is a process of meaningful dialogue and exchange. It is enriching. What emerges might be unexpected but it will be resonant, personal and beautiful. It will allow immersion in oneself, encourage contemplation and be a space of freedom.

“Quiet minds cannot be perplexed or frightened, but go on in fortune or misfortune at their own private pace, like a clock during a thunderstorm”
Robert Louis Stevenson (1850 - 1894)
